Greek Sandwiches

Greek Sandwiches

Card sandwiches could be seen as fast-food in the world of card tricks. Each top tier website - theory11, ellusionist, Dan and Dave and the likes features at least one trick of that nature.

Then we thought, why don't we? Exactly. Here's our take on this effect, called 'Greek Sandwiches'. Three tricks in a single tutorial bundle at an affordable price.

Sandwich I. Danyl Vdovenko

This effect is the simplest and the most straight-to-the-point one in the entire bundle. An audience member selects a card (optionally, can be signed) and then it's lost in the deck. Should you encounter the most know-it-all spectator, who might acquainted with ambitious card trick and such, you demonstrate that the card hasn't been controlled to the bottom or the top of the deck. You proceed by picking out two Jokers and or any other pair cards and openly put them in the middle of the deck facing up. Then, in a blink of an eye, the selection appears in between those two cards.

Sandwich II. Maxim Baz

The most difficult and unpredictable trick in this tutorial bundle. A spectator memorizes a random card from the deck. They can shuffle the deck if they're so inclined to. Then you demonstrate four Aces, put two black on top and the bottom of the deck and two red ones in the middle of the deck. You turn the deck face down, snap your fingers and the Aces switched their places. Reds took over the blacks and vice versa. You say that it's only an illusion and you can bring it back to how it all started. You turn over the deck one more time and they switch their places again. This time, however, one card appears in between two Aces in the middle of the deck.. and that card is indeed the selection. A full demonstration in front of a live audience is also included in this tutorial.

Sandwich III. Bonus

An alternate version of Sandwich I. It is performed completely in your hands. Flamboyant sleights aficionados will enjoy this one. A random card from the middle of the deck is shown to the spectator and is lost somewhere in the deck. You proceed by finding two Jokers and placing them in the middle of the deck, clearly showing there's nothing in between them. For now. Then out of thin air a single card actually appears in there, and it's the selection.

All tutorials are filmed from over the shoulder view and an additional angle with verbal walkthrough in 720p HD. Over 25 minutes of detailed instructions. This tutorial bundle features sleights of both beginner and advanced level.
