One handed Erdnase Shift

Somewhat similar to a backwards Charlier cut, the Erdanse Shift was designed as a gamblers move over 100 years ago and was since used as a not very practical way to return the deck into its initial state after the cut.

However in this tutorial we're teaching the Erdnase Shift as a cardistry move and as an element of a one handed cardistry combo. Among some other cardistry moves that are based on Erdnase Shift, Revolution Erdnase and Erdnase Go Round by Dan and Dave Buck (taught on "The System" and "The Trilogy") are worth mentioning.

The Erdnase Shift nowadays is a must if you're considering yourself an expert cardist.

To master Erdnase Shift faster we recommend you getting familiar with tutorials for Charlier Cut & Thumb Cut.
