The sixth and currently penultimate version of the Smoke & Mirrors series are in a deep, solid red. At release, these decks sold out in 30 minutes. It is known that these decks always send people swarming to the buy and this time, Dan and Dave’s site servers could not withstand the influx and the release was overshadowed by two hours of technical problems! But this did not discourage the appetite of the avid collectors as only half an hour after the site was back up and running, the cards were sold out.

The v6 Smoke and Mirrors by Dan and Dave Buck are the standard of minimalism worthy of the highest praise. Compared with the previous version, nothing has changed bar the colour. On the faces of the court cards, all unnecessary patterns have been removed leaving a simple and elegant design behind. On the cherry-red backs the two famous letter ‘D’s, indicating the names of the creators, are emblazoned in the centre. Unlike previous versions in the series, the v6, comes with a blank card which has a black version of the design on the back. Have we more surprises yet from the Buck twins? These are quite possibly the best cards we’ve had in our hands over the past few years. Printed on the press that USPCC uses for the best casinos in the world, the v6 Smoke & Mirrors’ stock is one of the best in our shop.
