Back in 2015 Cardistry-Con conference turned out to be a real breakthrough. Pioneers of cardistry Dan and Dave Buck had experience of organizing huge magic conferences like Magic-Con before. But only a few could believe in success of events, dedicated solely to card manipulations and flourishes. Within literally a couple of minutes after Kickstarter campaign launch all tickets for the second Cardistry-Con in Berlin were gone. But the project didn't end there. Backers could also buy a virtual ticket for the conference and follow the action online. Besides, exclusively for Cardistry-Con 2016 there was a commemorative deck produced.

Benji Taylor, cardist and illustrator from the UK, designed the deck. One way design of the back of the cards was presumably inspired by Picasso's cubism. Pleasing colour palette across the whole deck and unique Ace of Spades (yes, there're no jokers), are the main peculiarities of Cardistry-Con 2016 playing cards. The deck is printed in the USA on USPCC's premium paper. The cards have thin borders and bright colours feature metallic inks.
