DB CARD CLIP v2 is now available in our shop

One year has passed since we released our first trademark accessory - DB CARD CLIP v.1. We took into consideration all your feedback and released the most minimalist wooden holder yet.

DB Card Clip v.2 is flawless. It features just perfect dimensions in terms of height, width and thickness (9cmх7cmх2.2cm), weight (53 grams) and it's two times (!) lighter than an aluminium clip. The card clip securely grips the deck of cards and protects the box from damage. It perfectly fits all standard USPCC poker decks like Bicycle, Tally-Ho or Bee. You won't find two similar clips, all were handmade (craftsmanship by Eduard Boronin from Lviv) with a unique shade of wood to each of them.

Same as for the first edition, DB Card Clip v.2 is made of one of three wood types: Carpathian alder, maple or linden. Each card clip is made of a wholesome wooden plank. No glue work at all!

How is it made?

1. Before starting the work with that eco-friendly type of wood, the craftsman soakens it with organic oils to achieve the flexibility required for the precise carving.
2. Those wholesome plates of wood are then turned into symmetrical and intricate handmade items with the help of chisel, file and other special tools. Hours of work are being put to finesse all the details of the card clips.
3. The items are being waxed or covered with organic oils as a final varnish to complete the look. One wouldn't be able to pull their eyes away from these card clips, they have a soft feel and don't glare. Overall, it takes an entire day to produce a single card clip like this.

Despite sophisticated craftsmanship, our private DB Card Clip v.2 has fallen on the ground several times and is still in one piece, proving its longevity in practice.
