2020 is a turmoil year, especially for the USA. But one of America's finest illusionists and endurance artists David Blaine has come up with a brand new show to take people's minds away from the troubles at least for a few hours. This time the ambitious trick David's trying to pull off - an Ascension using giant air balloons - will be shown on YouTube. The free stream of the "Ascension" is planned for August 31 at 1 pm Kyiv time.

To hype it up, Blaine published a few short videos on his YouTube with popular vloggers (Casey Neistat, David Dobrik), sportsmen (LeBron James and the entire LA Lakers team) and business magnates (Jeff Bezos), bamboozling them with his card tricks and more. Recently we covered some of these for our channel. And a few days ago David dropped by the Joe Rogan's podcast where he shared all the details of his upcoming performance, told a few stories about his childhood inspirations as well as showed the abilities of his body on set (Joe pulled an ice pick through his guest's arm, and as a trademark finale David swallowed a live frog to only bring it back from his mouth a few moments later).

The actual show is an exclusive YouTube Originals release, the first special of David Blaine that is not aired not on TV. Watch the live broadcast of the "Ascension" below. When it ends, it still should be available via this link as a full stream recording of the show.
