22 levels of cardistry with Dan & Dave

The editorial board of Wired, a popular online magazine, has created a youtube channel back in 2005. To think, 1 in 3 people reading this wasn't even born back then. Now 8 million subscribers are following new Wired stories about inventions, technologies and unique cultural phenomena. It was a pleasant surprise to see cardistry pioneers and our good friends Dan and Dave Buck featured on such a giant platform.

The single fact of Dan and Dave Buck running a free 23-minute-long video workshop, teaching cardistry from A to Z, goes to show how much this niche subculture has transformed in the past decade. Long gone the times when only the chosen ones could afford buying a tutorial for a card flourish or a flashy colour change on theory11 for $4.99. Cardistry has now become full on open source and for Dan and Dave to appear on such a humongous platform will trigger a positive momentum within the artform, attracting new passionate audience.

Feel guilty you were given years of knowledge and training material condensed in a short online lesson for free? There's also a way to say thanks by purchasing Buck Twins' playing cards, designed for cardistry. Like Smoke & Mirrors. There was a time you could buy them for $8 per deck in our shop, but since collectors bought out almost everything we only can offer a few from our remaining private reserves, don't miss out.
